Garda Seeks Help To Identify Unknown Male In Co Clare

The body of an unknown male has been found washed up on the rocks at Aughinish, Kinvara, Co Clare.

It is understood gardaí received reports shortly before 9pm on Sunday, 19 June. Garda attended the scene and called a local doctor who pronounced the man dead at 10pm.

Gardaí have not yet been able to identify the man.

He is described as between 50 and 70 years, approximately 5'7" in height, reddish hair, receding hair line and blue eyes. His clothing and a number of items found on his person are described as follows:

• Blue Marks and Spencer Easy Care Pyjama, top & bottom

• Grey Boss V neck Jumper Regular Fit

• Grey Pin Stripe Trousers and Jacket with Irish Action Autism Badge

• Black Belt Brass Buckle

• Pair of Black Mark and Spencers Trouser Braces

• Grey Debonham and Freeman Zip Jacket Size Small to fit size 38 to 96

• White handkerchief with light blue stripes on edges

• Brown Clarke Shoes Size 9 1/2

• 2 Mis-Matched Blue Socks

• Pink toe spacer in Left Shoe

Man Arrested Over Missing Athlone Man
Gardaí investigating the disappearance of 41-year-old Adrian Folan have arrested a man in Galway. Mr Folan has been missing since 03 July when he was last seen in Athlone Town. Garda say that they have arrested a man aged in his 40s as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Mr Folan.

Gardaí Renew Appeal For Missing Dublin Teenager
Gardaí in Ronanstown have renewed an appeal for help in tracing 16-year-old Leigh Leech, who has not been seen since Sunday, 03 July. The teenager was last seen at approximate 6.45pm on Ormond Quay in Dublin. He is described as 5' 8'' in height, with short dark brown hair, blue eyes and of average build.

Gardaí Appeal For Missing Teen John Byrne
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in tracing 17-year-old John Byrne. John was last seen on the Clontarf Road on 10 June. He is described as being 5'7", of slight build and with brown hair. When last seen, he was wearing grey Adidas bottoms, grey button up jumper with blue shoulders, bright blue runners and a red cap.

Human Remains Confirmed As Those Of Dublin Teen
Human remains discovered outside a house in the Coolock area of north Dublin have been confirmed as those of a 17 year-old juvenile. Forensic Science Ireland said the partial remains found in Moatview Drive, Priorswood on Monday 13 January are those of Keane Mulready-Woods. The teenager had been missing since Sunday 12.

Gardaí Hunt For Two Missing Females
Separate searches have been announced in connection with the disappearance of two females in the past week. In the latest disappearance, Gardaí at Sundrive Road, Dublin, said they are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 62-year-old Pauline Behan from Rafters Road, Dublin. Pauline was last seen at 4pm on Monday.
