Two In Court Over €240,000 Cannabis Seizure
Two men are due in court today in connection with a cannabis seizure in Co Meath at the weekend.
Gardai seized drugs worth an estimated €240,000 on Friday following what they described as a planned operation targeting the activities of a north Dublin criminal gang.
The Organised Crime Unit stopped two vans on the N2 at Kenstown near Navan on Friday afternoon. Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of up to €84,000 was seized, and two men were arrested and held at Finglas Garda station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
In a follow-up search at a home in Navan the same day, a further quantity of cannabis herb with an estimated street value of up to €156,000 was seized and a third man arrested.
The third man was later released without charge last night, and investigations are ongoing.

Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Garda Seize Cannabis Plants Worth €400,000
Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €400,000 have been seized following a search at a house in in Co Kildare. Garda found the plants inside a residence in Ballyboeen, Kilcock as part of an ongoing investigation. No arrests have yet been made and garda have said the investigation is ongoing.

Up to €5.3 million worth of drugs have been seized following a search operation in Co Meath. As part of a planned operation by Gardaí from Meath Divisional Drugs Unit, officers carried out the search at a property in Clinstown, Stamullen at 2.45pm on Thursday, 29 June.
