Man Arrested After Cannabis Herb Seizure In Co Carlow
A man has been arrested after cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 was seized during a Gardaí search operation in Co Carlow.
Gardaí from the Kilkenny/Carlow Divisional Drugs Unit and the Garda Dog Unit carried out a planned search of a premises in Carlow Town shortly after 2:30pm on Thursday.
Cannabis herb with an estimated value of €100,000 (pending analysis) was seized and a man in his early 40s was arrested at the scene.
He is currently detained at Carlow Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Cannabis worth an estimated €100,000 has been uncovered in a wooded area in Co Cavan. Gardaí confirmed they made the discovery on Tuesday at Drumgill. No one has been arrested in connection with the find, gardaí have said, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

Woman Arrested Following Cannabis Find
A woman has been arrested after a cannabis growhouse was discovered by gardai in County Carlow. The plants, believed to be worth approximately €250,000, were found during a planned search of a house yesterday. The woman, in her 40's, is being questioned at Carlow garda station.
