Two Men Arrested In David Byrne Murder Investigation

Two men have been arrested by garda investigating the murder of David Byrne.

Mr Byrne was shot dead during a boxing weigh-in event at the Regency Hotel in Dublin on 05 February, 2016.

The two men, aged in their 50's and 30's, were arrested on Tuesday and are being detained at Swords and Clonfarf Garda Stations under Section 50 of The Criminal Justice Act. 2007.

The arrests brings the number of people who have been detained as part of the murder investigation to three.

Two Arrested Over Byrne Murder
Two men in their 20's have been arrested in West Dublin in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old man in Inchicore. David Byrne was found in the car park of Emmet Court apartment block on Saturday night. He was stabbed at least four times and was pronounced dead in St James's Hospital.

Fourth Man Arrested In David Byrne Murder Investigation
A fourth man has been arrested in connection with the murder of David Byrne. Mr Byrne was shot dead during a boxing weigh-in event at the Regency Hotel in Dublin on 05 February, 2016 A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested on Wednesday. He is being detained at Raheny Garda Station under Section 50 of The Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Co Carlow Death Changed To Murder Investigation
An investigation into the discovery of a man's body at a house in Tullow, Co Carlow has been upgraded to a murder inquiry. The body of 41-year-old Gints Intenbergs, a Latvian national, was found in a rented house on the Graigeowen estate at about 9am on Tuesday morning.
