Suspected Human Remains Discovered In Dublin

Suspected human remains have been found near St James's Hospital in Dublin.

The discovery was made on Wednesday at around 3pm.

It is not known if the remains are human, animal or historic, according to Gardai.

The scene has been preserved and a forensic anthropologist is to examine the remains today, 05 May.

Human Remains Found At Recycling Plant Confirmed As Male
Human remains found at a recycling plant in Dublin belonged to a man, Gardaí have confirmed. Staff at the Thornton's recycling centre on Killeen Road, Ballyfermot, found the lower part of a human leg on Friday and called gardaí. The upper part of a leg was then found on Saturday.

New Investigation Launched After Discovery Of Another Human Limb
Gardai are investigating the latest discovery of human remains on a beach in south Dublin. They confirmed that what is believed to be the remains of a right arm was discovered by gardai on patrol at Shankhill beach around midday yesterday. The remains were taken to the city morgue in Marino for forensic examination.

Wicklow Body Suspected To Be Missing Teen
Human remains found in County Wicklow are suspected to be that of a missing teenager. Gardai from Dublin Metropolitian Region South Central, carrying out a search operation in the Wicklow Mountains at Kippure confirmed on Monday they have discovered unidentified human remains.

Skull Found By Workmen Found To Be Human Remains
The State Pathologist has ruled that a skull found by workmen in Swords on Thursday is from a human. A preliminary examination has established that the skull is that of a human male. It is understood that a forensic anthropologist is being brought in to try and identify the deceased. Police are also checking missing persons files.

Human Remains Confirmed As Those Of Dublin Teen
Human remains discovered outside a house in the Coolock area of north Dublin have been confirmed as those of a 17 year-old juvenile. Forensic Science Ireland said the partial remains found in Moatview Drive, Priorswood on Monday 13 January are those of Keane Mulready-Woods. The teenager had been missing since Sunday 12.
