Revenue Officers Seize Cigarettes And Tobacco In Dublin
Revenue Officers have seized cigarettes and tobacco during a search operation in Dublin yesterday, 03 May.
The searches took place at 10pm in the Dublin 7 area.
Approximately 13,000 cigarettes branded 'Excellence', 'Marlboro', 'Jim', 'MG' and '169', along with 8.8kg of tobacco branded 'Flandria', were seized at two houses as part of an intelligence led operation targeting illegal trading on Moore Street.
The combined retail value of the goods is €11,000, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of over €8,700.
Investigations are continuing.

Alcohol And Cigarettes Seized In Revenue Operations
Quantities of illegal alcohol and cigarettes have been seized by Revenue Officers in two operations over the weekend. Cigarettes, branded 'Kent', 'Kent Slims', 'NZ', and 'Compliment Slims', were siezed following a search of a Romanian registered bus that disembarked a ferry from Holyhead at Dublin Port.
