Man Arrested Over Tallaght Adventure Centre Robbery

A man aged in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery of an adventure centre in Tallaght.

The centre at Whitestown Business Park was robbed on Sunday 10 April.

Garda made the arrest on Monday evening under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. 

The man has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
Drugs with an estimated street value of €170,000 have been seized by gardai during a raid on a property in west Dublin. Cocaine and cannabis was found during the raid at a house in Balgaddy. A gun and ammunition were also discovered. A 37-year=old has been arrested and is being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station.

Three Arrested Over Stabbing Attacks
Three men have been arrested in connection with two stabbing incidents in Dublin last week. One man was arrested on Wednesday night and another two men were arrested on Thursday morning. The men, aged in their late teens/early 20s were arrested in the Dublin city centre area. They are currently being detained at Pearse Street Garda Station.

Jessbrook Equestrian Centre Could Be Re-Appropriated As Sports Centre
The former prize asset of crime boss John Gilligan, the Jessbrook equestrian centre, could be re-appropriated as a national sports arena, in the wake of fears surrounding property prices. The development of the centre at Mucklon in north Kildare in 1995 and 1996 cost €1.5m and it was regarded as the biggest indoor equestrian centre in the country.

Daylight Belfast Mugging Shock
Belfast city centre's image has again been blighted by a violent incident with news today of a woman being mugged yesterday by two thieves. The PSNI said that she was approached by the two men at the junction of Lombard Street and Rosemary Street. It happened in daylight hours at around 2.30pm on Monday.
