Four Men In Court Over Drug Seizures
Four men have appeared in court charged in separate drug seizure cases.
In Co Cork, three men have appeared before Midleton District Court charged in connection with seizure of cocaine during an operation in Cobh.
In Co Galway, a man in his late 30s has appeared before Galway District Court charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis plants yesterday.
Cannabis plants worth almost €300,000 were discovered at a house in Ballydonnellan, Corrandulla.

Two Charged With The Murder Of James Lindsay
Two men have been charged with the murder of Jamie Lindsay. Quentin Monaghon, 20, and James Seery, 21 appeared before Athy District Court today. Mr Lindsay was shot at Coney Green in Athy on 6th April this year. The two men have been remanded in custody and are to appear before Kilcock District Court on 1st October.

Three Men Charged Over Waterford Incident
Three men arrested yesterday following an incident at a halting site in Waterford have been brought to court. The three men were arrested on public order offences and two of the men have been charged with threatening and abusive behaviour. The other man has been charged with trespass.

Four Men Charged Under New Laws To Tackle Organised Crime
Four men, originally from Crumlin, have become the first to charged under tough new laws to tackle organised crime. David Atkinson, 41, Gerard Carey, 33, Philip Kerfoot, 38, and Dwayne Stacey, 22, appeared in Dublin District Court and were the first to be charged with participating in the activities of a gang they knew existed.
