200 New Jobs Announced For Co Limerick

Two hundred new jobs are to be created in Co Limerick by biopharmaceutical firm, Regeneron.

The company has announced a major capital investment in Raheen, Co Limerick, with will see it become the largest capacity biopharmaceutical production facility in Ireland.

Welcoming the announcement, Taoiseach Enda Kenny said: "We are intent on keeping this recovery going by keeping Ireland competitive and by attracting more investment and jobs into the regions. Regeneron's decision to expand so significantly is testament to the talent pool and attractive business environment available to companies in Ireland."

Jobs Minister Richard Bruton was in Limerick to make the announcement this morning, which he said is "great news for Limerick and the wider region".
