Three To Appear In Court Over €1.6m Drugs Seizure

Three people are to appear in court today, Monday 12 October, following a €1.6m drugs seizure in Dublin.

Gardaí searched a vehicle in the Conyingham Road area in Islandbridge on Saturday.

A 45-year-old was arrested at the scene after a quantity of cocaine and heroin were discovered.

More class A drugs, as well as cannabis herb, were found during a follow-up search in Ballyfermot.

A man, 24, and a woman, 21, were arrested.

Arrests Follow 500K Drug Seizure
Two men have been arrested in connection with a major drug seizure in Dublin that led to the discovery of an estimated €500,000 worth of various drugs. In a statement released this morning, Gardai said they had seized the drugs and arrested the two males following an intelligence lead operation in Dublin yesterday.

Two Remanded Over Donegal Drugs Seizure
A father and son from Co. Armagh have appeared in court in Co Donegal, charged in connection with the seizure of cannabis worth an estimated €500,000. Kieran Smyth senior, 47, and his son Kieran Smyth junior, 24, appeared in court in Donegal yesterday. Both were remanded in custody.
