Man Seriously Injured Following Stabbing Attack In Drogheda

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in County Louth.

The incident occurred at a pharmacy on Scarlet Street in Drogheda shortly before 8.30am on Tuesday.

The victim, believed to be in his 30's, is currently being treated in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital.

A man in his 30s has been arrested and is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Dundalk Garda Station.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Double Stabbing In Co Louth
One man has died and a female is recovering in hospital after a double stabbing incident in Drogheda yesterday. The 32-year-old man who was stabbed in Drogheda yesterday passed away in the early hours of this morning in St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin.
