Woman Seriously Injured In Collision With Garda Van

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses of a two vehicle collision on the Killarney to Tralee road at about 19:45 on Monday.

A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after the car she was driving was involved in a collision with a Garda van around seven miles outside Killarney.

The driver of the van suffered minor injuries.

The road remains open, however it has been restricted to one lane.

As the crash involved a Garda vehicle it has been referred to The Garda Síochána Ombudsman Commission which is standard procedure.

Two Arrested In Connection With Cash-In-Transit Van Robbery
Two men have been arrested in connection with a cash-in-transit van robbery in Dublin. The men, aged in their 20s and 60s, have been detained by Gardai in connection with the incident which happened on Fortunestown Way last October. PSNI Investigating Fatal Collision Near Bready, Co Tyrone
An investigation has been launched following a fatal road traffic collision near Bready, Co Tyrone. At around 1.40pm on Sunday, 07 April, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on the Victoria Road. When police arrived it was discovered that a white Seat Leon had left the carriageway close to the junction with Grangefoyle Road.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic accident at Nurney, Co Kildare on Wednesday. A motorcycle collided with a van at about 18:15 on the Nurney to Kildare Road close to Walterstown Cross.

Man Arrested Over Cash-In-Transit Van Robbery
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a man in connection with a cash-in-transit van robbery early on Friday morning. It is understood that a number of armed men held up the van at about 07:40am on Cork Street in Dublin, making off with a sum of money.

Cash-In-Transit Van Robbery Foiled By Passing Garda Patrol
Gardaí have foiled an attempted cash-in-transit van robbery in Clondalkin, west Dublin. According to garda at around 11:20am two men approached a guard from the van as he made a delivery at the Bawnogue Shopping Centre, threatening him with a firearm.
