Man Dies In Suspect 'Cardiac Event' At Dublin Half Marathon
A 23-year-old man died of a suspected heart attack while running the Dublin half-marathon on Saturday, the Irish Independent has reported.
The man, named in the report as John McHugh, is said to have collapsed close to the finish line in Phoenix Park. It is believed that he suffered a "cardiac event".
It is understood that a number of other runners, who were trained paramedics, stopped to assist Mr McHugh before paramedics arrived.
A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Man's Body Discovered In Limerick
An investigation has been launched after a man's body was discovered in Limerick. The body was found at the back of a house in the Brierfield area, Castletroy, on Friday afternoon. The man is believed to be in his 30s. A Polish man living in Limerick was reported missing on Thursday, however it has not been established if it is his body.

A missing 24-year-old man has been found "safe and well". Alex Sherwin had been reported missing on Sunday, with garda issuing a public appeal for assistance. No information on Mr Sherwin's whereabouts have been released, but garda said the investigation had now ended. They thanked the public for their help.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
