Heroin Worth An Estimated €1.5m Seized
Heroin worth an estimated €1.5 million was seized during a vehicle stop on the Naas Road, close to Rathcoole.
Officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau of An Garda Síochána and the Revenue Commissioners Customs Service stopped two cars on Wednesday as part of an intelligence-led operation.
Approximately 10 kilos of diamorphine was seized during a search of the cars. Two men, aged 32 and 39, were arrested for drug trafficking offences and were detained at Clondalkin Garda Station, under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Both men have been charged in connection with this investigation and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am this morning, Thursday 20th August 2015.

Over €1M Cannabis Seized In Dublin
Over €1M worth of cannabis has been seized in two separate drug finds in Dublin over the weekend. In the latest incident, Gardai seized a quantity of Herbal Cannabis and arrested a woman in her 40's on Sunday night after an operation by detectives from the Garda National Drugs Unit, Pearse Street Drugs Unit and Revenue Customs Service.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
A 37-year-old man has been arrested after Gardai discovered what is believed to be 15 kilos of heroin at a house in Lucan yesterday evening. It is believed to have a street value of €2.25million. The man is being detained at Clondalklin Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.

Man Arrested And Drugs Seized In Celbridge
A man has been arrested following the seizure of €120,000 of drugs in a planned search in Celbridge on Wednesday night. Herion and cannabis resin were recovered from a house in St Patrick's Park in the town. A 19-year-old was arrested at the scene, garda have said.
