Cocaine Seized In Two Operations At Dublin Airport

Cocaine worth more than €20,000 has been seized by Revenue Customs Officers at Dublin Airport in two separate intelligence-led operations.

In an operation on Friday, 07 August, cocaine worth €16,800 was found in the luggage of an Irish male in his 20s, who was departing for Ibiza on Friday.

In the second operation on Saturday, 08 August, two Irish males, aged 36 and 24, and who were also travelling to Ibiza, were found to be in possession of 30 grammes of cocaine each. A sum of €8,100 was also seized under the proceeds of crime legislation.

All three men were arrested by Gardaí and investigations are ongoing.

Cocaine Seizure 'Significant Blow Against Organised Crime'
Cocaine worth an estimated €500,000 has been seized by officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau in Co Dublin. The drugs were uncovered during a search of a premises at Coolquay, The Ward on Sunday, 27 March. Approximately seven kilos of cocaine with a street value of €500,000 was seized during the operation.

Gardaí Seize Firearms And Drugs From Dublin Apartment
A man and a woman, both in their 20s, have been arrested following the seizure of firearms and drugs during a search of a Dublin apartment. The Gardaí found cocaine with a street value of €100,000, ecstasy tablets worth €11,5 and cannabis worth €6,000 in the Clondalkin flat. Two shotguns and a ammunition were also seized during the evening raid.
