Two Arrested In Connection With Fatal Stabbing Incident In Sligo
Gardai have arrested two people after a man was found stabbed to death at his flat in Sligo.
A man and woman, both aged in their 20s, have been detained after the body of Martin Kivlehan, was discovered at his property on Tuesday.
A post-mortem examination confirmed he had been stabbed.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward or for anyone who was in the area of Mr Kivlehan's flat on Holborn Street from 10pm on Sunday to 1pm on the bank holiday Monday to contact them.
The pair have been detained under section four of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Man Killed Following Stabbing Attack In Dublin
A 21-year-old man has died after a stabbing attack in Dublin. The incident happened at the Oliver Bon flat complex shortly before 2.45am on Sunday. The victim received "serious stab wounds" during the attack. He was taken to St James' Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A post mortem is expected to take place.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Arrested Following Stabbing Incident
A man has taken to hospital after being stabbed in Co Wexford. The male, 34, was stabbed at a house on Grange Road at around 9.30pm on Thursday night. His condition is described as serious but stable. Gardai have arrested a 60-year-old man. He is currently being detained at New Ross Garda station.

15-Year-Old Arrested In Lorcan O'Reilly Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Lorcan O'Reilly in Dublin last year have arrested a 15-year-old male. Mr O'Reilly died after he was stabbed in the early hours of 01 November. It is believed that Mr O'Reilly was attempting to break up a fight at the Oliver Bond flat complex in Dublin's south inner city when he was fatally injured.

Firearms Recovered In Garda Searches
A number of firearms have been seized by gardaí during weekend searches. A number of searches were carried out at the Marrowbone Lane Flat Complex in Dublin 8, by gardaí investigating serious crime and drug activity. Three rifles, six loaded magazines, one revolver and 200-300 rounds of ammunition were all recovered in the planned operation.
