Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Accident In Co Louth
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road traffic in Castlebellingham, Co Louth on Sunday.
A man in his 40s died following a three car collision on the M1 northbound, between junctions 15 and 16 and about 22:30.
The man was the driver of one of the vehicles. A woman in her 40s, the driver of the second car, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the third car were also removed to hospital, but are not thought to be seriously injured.
The road at the scene remains closed to facilitate a technical examination of the area by Garda forensic collision investigators. Diversions are in place in the area.

Renewed Appeal Over Murder Of Taxi Driver
Gardaí have renewed an appeal for information on the murder of taxi driver Martin Mulligan. Mr Mulligan (53) was stabbed to death on 28 September following an altercation in Dundalk in Co Louth. It is believed the altercation began over an unpaid taxi fare.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

A man in his 30s has died following a collision in County Galway. The two-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 1am on Monday morning, 02 September. A car and a van were involved, with the driver of the car pronounced dead at the scene. The road has been closed to allow a technical examination to be carried out.

Man Killed In Wicklow Crash
A man has died following a road collision in County Wicklow. Aged in his 40s, the man was walking near a restaurant in Laragh shortly after 2am on Sunday 07 April when he was struck by a car. The driver was uninjured. Police are appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity at the time or who has dash cam footage of the collision to contact them.
