Appeal For Witnesses Following Fatal Road Accident In Co Wexford

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident at Gorey, Co Wexford.

Gardaí said that an elderly female driver was fatally injured when her car was in collision with a truck at about 15:20 at Ballyloughan, Arklow Road, Gorey.

The scene remains closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.

Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses to contact Gorey Garda Station on 053-9430690, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

'Suspicious' Death Of 81-Year-Old Investigated
A Gardaí investigation has been launched into the suspicious death of an 81-year-old man in Wexford. The man’s body was discovered outside a house at Ballyedmond, just off the main Wexford-Gorey road, at about 4.50pm yesterday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Man Questioned Over Fatal Road Crash In Co Mayo
Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

Man Arrested Over Dublin Body Find
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Dublin last week. The body of Kevin Molloy was found at his home in Glendhu Road in Cabra, Dublin, on Sunday 01 February. Investigating garda said they believed Mr Molloy's body had laid undiscovered for some time.
