Man Jailed For Nine Years For Killing Irishman In Australia

A man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for murdering Irishman Thomas Keaney in Australia.

Thomas, 23, died after a one punch attack in 2013. He suffered a serious brain injury after falling and hitting his head on the pavement.

Abbas Yahya Al Jrood was jailed in Australia.

Mr Keaney died ten days after the fatal lunch in Perth.

Taxi Driver Charged After Death Of Irishman
A taxi driver in connection with a fatal incident in Perth has been charged after an Irishman was killed. Ryan Doyle, 25, from Leitrim, was found lying on a road in the suburb of Belmont in the early hours of yesterday morning. Mr Doyle died from his injuries in hospital.
