Garda Renew Appeal For Help Identifying Woman Recovered From Sea

Gardaí have renewed an appeal for help in identifying the body of a woman recovered from the sea at The Bull Wall, Clontarf, on the morning of Tuesday 30 June.

The woman is believed to have been in her late 60's or early 70's and is described as being of slight build with grey hair.

The woman was wearing a red coloured light weight jumper which had a floral pattern, a white vest/t-shirt, black corduroy trousers and black shoes which had a heel and square toe. The woman also had a green, navy and red coloured leather money holder around her neck.

A green quilted jacket and blue polka dot umbrella were found close by to where the woman was located.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information which may assist in identifying this woman to contact them at Clontarf Garda Station on 01 6664800, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Co Kerry Garda Appeal For Help Identifying Body
Garda Co Kerry have appealed for help identifying the body of a woman found in a holiday home in Kenmare some two weeks ago. It is understood that a passport was found in the holiday home, but the body of the woman found dead bore little or no resemblance to the photograph of the document.

Hunt For Woman Missing In Meath
A hunt has been launched to find a woman missing from her home in Meath. Margaret Mawhinney, 53, has gone missing from her home at Trim Road in Navan, Co. Meath. She is originally from Co Armagh. A spoesman for Gardaí said Margaret's family are very concerned for her safety.
