Man Arrested After Cannabis Plants Seized In Co Limerick

A man has been arrested after cannabis plants were seized by gardaí in Limerick.

The plants are believed to be worth an estimated street value of €115,000.

Gardaí carried out the planned search at a house in Bruff on Monday.

The man, in his 20s, is being detained at Bruff Garda Station.

Cannabis Plants Worth €140,000 Uncovered In Leitrim
Cannabis plants worth an estimated €140,000 have been uncovered during a planned raid in Leitrim. Gardaí discovered approximately 175 cannabis plants at a house in Carraigall. It is understood the property was unoccupied and no arrests have been made in relation to the find.

Men Arrested Over Cannabis Seizures
Gardaí in Co Kerry have seized cannabis plants worth an estimated €140,000 in searches in two villages. Around 128 cannabis plants were uncovered at Barrow House, Barrow West, in Ardfert on Saturday, with an estimated street value of €100,000. A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the find.

Men Arrested Over Three Cannabis Seizures
Gardaí investigating three cannabis seizures in Co Offaly in the past week have arrested two men. Garda officers discovered cannabis plants worth an estimated €250,000 at a premises in Clonmore, Edenderry. This was followed by the seizure of cannabis plants worth an estimated €160,000 found in a vehicle near Tullamore on Thursday.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.
