'Suspicious Package' Handed In To Gay And Lesbian Equality Network in Dublin
A "suspicious package" has been delivered to the offices of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network in Dublin city centre.
It is understood that an envelope containing "a powdery substance" was handed into the offices this morning. A note is said to have been attached to the package, but no details of what was written have been released.
Dublin Fire Brigade have said that they are treating the situation as a "serious incident".
There have been no reports of any injuries.

Gardaí Launches Investigation Following Tiger Kidnap In Dublin
A major investigation is underway following the armed kidnapping of a family in north Dublin. The incident occurred this morning, 03 December. At around 5am, a mother and daughter were taken by an armed gang from their home in the Gracefield road/Artane area. They were put into a white/silver VA Caddy with the partial registration number 09-D.

The bomb disposal unit is investigating two suspect devices - believed to be pipe bombs - found in Fairview Park in Dublin this morning and gardaí officers are also investigating a suspicious package at social welfare offices in the Ballyfermot area of Dublin.
