€140,000 Heroin Seized From 'Suspicious' Car In Dublin

Heroin worth an estimated street value of €140,000 has been seized by Gardaí in central Dublin.

Gardaí received reports of the 'suspiciously parked' car on Portland Street North in Monday, 04 January.

While approaching the green Ford Focus, officers noticed the boot was lying open.

Two packages containing the drugs was spotted sitting on the spare tyre inside the boot.

Both the car and heroin was seized and an investigation is now underway.

Anyone who witnessed individuals acting suspiciously around the car between 11.30am and 1pm on the 04 January are asked to contact Gardai.

Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.

Man Arrested Over €1.4m Heroin Seizure
A man has been arrested after heroin, worth a street value of approximately €1.4 million, was seized in Dublin. The drugs were discovered by gardai during a planned search of premises on Wednesday, 01 June. Cannabis, worth an estimated street value of €10,000, was also seized. The suspect is being detained at Kevin Street Garda Station.

Gardaí Seized Drugs Worth Estimated €5m
Gardaí in Dublin have seized drugs worth an estimated €5m. The Clondalkin Detective and Drugs Units uncovered heroin and cocaine during a search of premises at the Bluebell Industrial Estate on Tuesday. Gardaí said they seized 32.5kg of suspected heroin and half a kilogram of suspected cocaine. The drugs are still to be forensically tested.
