100 New Jobs For Limerick

One hundred new jobs are to be created in Limerick by computer company Dell.

The company has announced that it is expanding its research and development base at its Limerick facility.

Recruitment for the new jobs, described as high-skilled engineering roles, will begin immediately.

Bausch + Lomb Create 125 New Jobs
Bausch + Lomb has announced the opening of a new €85 million extension at the their Waterford facility, with the creation of 125 new jobs. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, the parent company of Bausch + Lomb, has invested more than €200 million in the Waterford facility's operations, infrastructure and manufacturing line growth.

Digital Marketing firm, SLM Connect, is to create 125 new jobs with its expansion into Na Doirí Beaga, Co. Donegal. The Manchester-based company is to establish a new business at Páirc Ghnó Ghaoth Dobhair.

300 New Jobs Announced By Uber For Limerick
Almost 300 new jobs are to be created in Limerick city by international transportation company, Uber. The company has said that around 150 jobs will be created by the end of this year at a new customer services hub. Uber connects passengers who need lifts with a network of drivers in cities across the world with their Uber apps.

SDLP Launches Petition For Restoration Of Integrated Schools Funding
The SDLP has launched a petition calling for the restoration of funding for new buildings at ten integrated schools across NI. The petition follows the recent announcement of the withdrawal of this funding as part of the financial package agreed between Executive parties and the UK Government.
