Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Stabbing In Dublin 15

A man in his 30s is in a stable condition in hospital after being found with a number of stab wounds on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to Littlepace Road, Dublin 15 at about 02:45 on Friday morning. The victim was found to have been stabbed a number of times.

Gardaí investigating the stabbing said they have arrested a 32-year-old man at a house in Latchford Park however the investigation is ongoing.

They have appealed for any witnesses to the incident to contact them.

Investigation Launched Into Fatal Stabbing
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of the body of man stabbed to death in the early hours of the morning in Ennis, Co Clare. It is understood that the victim is a Polish man (31) attending a party in the town. Gardaí say the man was stabbed a number of times at a house in Sandfield Mews.

Man Arrested Following Stabbing Incident
A man has taken to hospital after being stabbed in Co Wexford. The male, 34, was stabbed at a house on Grange Road at around 9.30pm on Thursday night. His condition is described as serious but stable. Gardai have arrested a 60-year-old man. He is currently being detained at New Ross Garda station.

Five More Arrested In Water Protest Investigation
A further five males have been arrested by garda investigating a water charge protest in Jobstown in November last year. Garda arrested three adults and two teenagers on Thursday morning, bringing the total number of people detained to seventeen.

Man Found Dead In Westmeath Is Named
A man found dead in a campervan at Lough Lene in County Westmeath on Thursday morning has been named as Thomas Canning, 42, from Summerhill. A man, in his 20s, is being detained at Mullingar Garda Station in connection with the death under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held up to 9.00pm this evening.

Public Appeal After Third Confirmed Case Of Measles In Ireland
The Public Health Agency (PHA) has announced that it has been made aware of a third confirmed case of measles in the Republic of Ireland. It is understood that the case was confirmed in a resident of Ireland who had arrived back in the country from Abu Dhabi on Saturday 9 March 2024.
