Man Killed In Co Cavan Car Accident
A man has died in a car accident in Co Cavan.
The car he was driving hit a tree on the Ballinagh to Crossdoney Road just after 10pm on Sunday night.
The man, 31, was seriously injured and was later pronounced dead at Cavan General Hospital.
A post mortem is due to take place today.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

The body of a 22-year-old man who was reported missing has been found during a search operation in Derryhassan, Ballyconnell, on Saturday. Donal Greene was last seen in Derryhassan at approximately 05:00 on the morning of Saturday 28 February 2015.

Man Dies In Co Cavan Lake
A man has died after he got into difficulties while swimming in a lake in Co Cavan. He had been swimming with friends at Knocknagarton lake at approximately 10pm on Monday. His body was recovered and was taken to Cavan General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Man Dies In Shooting Incident
A 21-year-old man who was shot in Bunratty, Co Clare, died yesterday in hospital. Two men are still being questioned over the attack at the Bunratty Castle Hotel car park, and are being detained at Mayfield and Gurranabraher Garda Stations.

A man in his 60s has been seriously injured during a traffic collision in County Cavan. Gardai in the county said they are investigating a fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the N3 at Lavey, Stradone at approximately 7.45pm on Wednesday.
