Valuable Paintings Stolen In Co Wicklow
Three paintings, described as valuable, have been stolen from a house in Co Wicklow, it has been revealed.
The paintings were taken from a property in the Donard area last Wednesday evening (22 October).
By renowned Irish artists, the paintings are:
• Portrait of a Lady by Sir John Lavery, which measures approximately 65cm x 30cm
• Landscape with Cottage by Paul Henry, measuring approximately 40cm x 50cm
• The Fern in the Area by Jack B Yeats, which measures approximately 40cm x 50cm.
Gardaí have said investigations into the theft are ongoing.
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information or who may have come into contact with the paintings are asked to contact Baltinglass Garda Station on 059-6482610, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
