€200,000 Of Cannabis Plants Found In Co Cavan

Gardai have discovered cannabis plants, with a street value of approximately €200,000, at a premises in County Cavan on Tuesday night.

Gardai discovered the drugs as part of an ongoing investigation against the supply and sale of drugs in the area.

The plants were discovered at disused premises in Mullanwary.

No arrests have been made.

Large quantities of cannabis plants have been discovered following a search of a house in Coothill, Co Cavan. Gardaí discovered over 1,300 cannabis plants being cultivated in a vacant property on Church Street at around 2pm yesterday. The plants have an estimated street value of €520,000.

Man Arrested Following Drugs Find
A man, aged in his 60s, has been arrested following a drugs seizure at a home in Celbridge, Kildare. A planned search was carried out at a property in Crodaun Forest Park in Celbridge, where gardaí discovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of up to €62,000. The man was arrested at the scene.

Four Arrested After Cannabis Plants Discovered
Gardaí in Cork have arrested four men and recovered cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €100,000. The plants were uncovered in a planned search of a house in Rusheen in Macroom, Co Cork. It is understood that the four men are aged between their late teens and early 30s. The investigation is ongoing.
