Three Brothers Found Dead In Co Cork

Post-mortem examinations are to be carried out on the bodies of three brothers who have been found dead in Co Cork.

According to Gardaí, nine-year-old twins Thomas and Paddy O'Driscoll were found at their home in Deerpark, Charleville, at around 5pm on Thursday. They were discovered with stab wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Later, the body of their older brother Jonathan, 22, was found around 15km away in Buttevant.

Gardaí have said they are not seeking anybody in relation to the death of the eldest brother.

Deputy State Pathologist, Dr Michael Curtis, is expected to visit the family home later today.

Man Arrested In Michael Devoy Murder Investigation
Gardaí investigating the murder of Michael Devoy in January this year have arrested a man in his early 20s. A routine garda patrol in the Bohernabreena area of Tallaght, found the body of Mr Devoy on 18 January. He had been shot dead. Garda have confirmed they have arrested a man in his early 20s in connection with the murder.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Investigation After Elderly Couple Found Dead In Donegal Home
Gardaí have launched an investigation in County Donegal following the deaths of an elderly couple. The pair, discovered at a house in Fountain Terrace, Convoy, were last seen yesterday afternoon. The man was in his 80's and the woman in her 70's. A post-mortem examination will be carried out, but no suspicious circumstances are clear as yet.

Investigation Underway Into Laois Man's Death
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the death of a 55-year-old man in Co Laois on Sunday night. Pat Burke was found dead in a downstairs bedroom in his home in Ballybrittas shortly before 11pm on Sunday night after Gardaí were called to the house. A post-mortem examination revealed that he died from multiple blows to the head.
