Man Arrested After Gardaí Seize €80k Of Cannabis

A 25-year-old man has been arrested following a drugs seizure.

On Tuesday (26 August), a planned search was carried out at a property in Ballynsheglish, near Castlerea. Inside the home, gardaí discovered 100 cannabis plants which were at various stages of growth.

Gardaí have said they have an estimated street value of €80,000.

The man was arrested at the scene and is currently being held at Roscommon Garda Station.
