Man And Woman Rescued From Island After Boating Accident
Rescuers have found two people alive and recovered the body of a third off the coast of west Cork.
It is understood that that two men and a woman left Schull harbour on a yacht on Wednesday afternoon but failed to return later that evening as expected.
An air and sea rescue operation was launched to search for the yacht.
A 76-year-old man and a woman, said to be aged in her 60s, where found on Castle Island in Schull harbour at about 06:15 this morning.
The body of a second man was recovered from the sea a short time later.
It is understood that the second man was attempting to swim to shore when the survivors lost contact with him.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

'Unusual' Death In Waterford Under Investigation
Gardaí are investigating the death of a man in Waterford City. According to garda, the man, understood to be aged in his 60s, was found at a house in Connolly Place at about 19:30 on Monday night. Garda say that a relative of the deceased had raised the alarm.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.
