Woman Assaulted In Dublin
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information after a young woman was allegedly assaulted in Dublin on Saturday.
The woman, who is in her early 20s, was approached by two men in the Christchurch area at around 5.30pm. It is thought she suffered minor injuries in the attack.
The incident was witnessed by a member of the public and gardaí want anyone who witnessed the attack or has any information to contact them. They can contact the Kevin Street Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line on 1-800-666-111.

An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Two Arrested Over Aidan Myers Murder
Two people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Aidan Myers, gardaí have confirmed. Mr Myers, 37, was killed by a gang who had attempted to hijack the car in which he was a passenger in Faughart, Co. Louth on December 12, 2006. He died after being attacked by a machete.

The body of a woman, aged in her 20s, was discovered at a house in the town in the early hours of this morning, Friday, 04 January. A post-mortem is due to be carried out which will determine the course of the investigation, garda have said.
