Teenager Dies In Co Mayo Road Crash

Garda in Co Mayo have reported the death of an 18-year-old man in a single vehicle collision at Tarmon, Blacksod.

Garda say that the man died when his car left the road and struck a wall. The accident happened at around 17:40 on Wednesday.

A second man in the car was airlifted to Mayo General Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this collision to contact Belmullet Garda Station on 097  81910, the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666111 or any garda station.

Women Killed In Westport Road Crash
A 24-year-old female passenger has died when the car she was in was involved in a two-car collision in Westport, Co Mayo. The collision, between a car, carrying the female passenger, and a truck happened on the N5, Westport to Castlebar Road at 09:00 on Friday morning.

Driver Killed In Mayo Crash Named
The male driver killed in a traffic collision in County Mayo yesterday has been named by Gardai this morning. Peter Meenan a 61-year-old from Ballyhaunis, in Mayo was killed in a road collision that occurred between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on the main Claremorris to Ballyhaunis road (N60) at the townland of Cuilmore.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.
