Garda Appeal Over Fatal Cyclist Crash In Cork
Garda in Cork have appealed for witnesses to a fatal bicycle crash in the city on Tuesday.
A cyclist died after colliding with a bollard at Shandon Street at about 17:40 yesterday.
The man, understood to be in his 40s, was taken to Cork University Hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Watercourse Road Garda Station on 021 4558260, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666111 or any Garda station.

Witnesses Sought To Fatal Motorcycle Collision
Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a serious collision in Co Cork on Tuesday evening. At about 8pm, a man aged in his 40s, died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car at Lough Beg, Ringaskiddy. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and has since been taken to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem.

Man Arrested Over The Murder Of Mikolaj Wilk
A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Mikolaj Wilk in County Cork last June. The suspect, aged in his 30s, has been detained at Togher Garda Station. 35-year-old Mr Wilk, who was originally from Poland, died when he was attacked by a gang at his home in Ballingcollig.

It is understood that a 33-year-old male pedestrian was hit by a car at on the N25 on the Cork side of Castlemartyr at about 05:15 on 04 May. He was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
