Aer Lingus Add Additional Flights During Strike Action

Twenty five additional flights have been added by Aer Lingus in an effort to reduce possible disruption from strike action.

The airline says it will add the flights the day before and the day after the planned work stoppage on May 30.

Cabin crews are in dispute with the airline over working conditions, calling for a system of five days on and three days off. However, Aer Lingus has said that it is unworkable.

It is understood that the workers union is to meet soon to decide on further industrial action it might take following the coming work stoppage.
