Man Dies In Farm Accident

A man has died following an accident on a farm in County Carlow on Thursday at around 6pm.

It is believed the 79-year-old man was hit by a front loader on a digger on the family farm in Bennekerry.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Health and Safety Authority inspectors are expected to carry put investigations today.

Man Killed In Workplace Accident
An investigation has been launched after a man died following a workplace accident in County Limerick. The man, believed to be in his 60's, was killed when the cab of a truck he was working on fell on top of him on Wednesday night. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A man has been killed in a farming accident in Knockea, Co Cork. According to reports the 26-year-old man was found trapped under a trailer at around 12:45am. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation into the death has been launched by the Health and Safety Authority.

Two independent investigations have been launched following the death of a 59-year-old man in a workplace accident. The man died following an incident on a building site in Midleton, Co Cork, at approximately 12:49pm on Monday, 08 August, at St Coleman's Community College.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.
