DCC To Debate Renewed Liffey Cable Car Proposal

Eight years after being abandoned, Dublin City Council is to again debate a proposal for a cable car service that would run along the Liffey, from Dockland's west to Heuston Station.

First proposed in 2006 by developer Barry Boland, the €80m scheme never progressed.

An updated version of the proposal has now been produced and is to be debated by DCC later today.
