Man Arrested And Cannabis Growhouse Uncovered In Raid

Cannabis with an estimated value of €33,000 has been seized during a planned operation at an address in the Neilstown area or Dublin.

A man, said to be in his 20s, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with the discovery of a growhouse, which contained a number of plans and the cultivated drug.

The arrested man is being held at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Suspected Cannabis Growhouse Uncovered By House Fire
A suspected cannabis growhouse has been uncovered following a house fire in Co Tipperary. The discovery was made after the fire brigade and garda attended the scene of a fire at a house in the Rathnavogue area of Roscrea. A search of the house was carried out after the fire was extinguished.
