Three Arrested In Connection With Dissident Republican Activity

Three men are being questioned by Gardai in connection with dissident republican activity.

The men, aged 42, 44 and 47, have been detained as part of an ongoing investigation.

A large sum of counterfeit money was recovered after searches were carried out at four homes in the north Dublin area, while commercial premises in County Meath were also searched.

Printing equipment and computers were also seized in the search.

The operation is ongoing.

Four Arrested Over Dissident Republican Activity
Four men have been arrested over dissident republican activity. Members of An Garda Siochana from the Special Detective Unit carried out 20 searches in Counties Louth, Dublin and Wexford on Wednesday. All of the men are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against Act at various Garda Stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.

Search Launched For Missing Men Off Waterford
Emergency services are scouring the coast of Waterford after two men were reported missing from the area yesterday afternoon. Air, sea and coastline searches are involved in the search for the two Tipperary men identified as John O'Brien and Pat Esmonde, both in their mid-30s.

Three Arrested In Connection With Drugs Find
Three people have been arrested after 72,000 ecstasy tablets, worth an estimated street value of €720,000, were seized in Dublin on Tuesday. Officers from Revenue's Customs Service, assisted by the Garda Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau discovered the drugs during two house searches. Two men, aged 42 and 43, and a woman, 46, were arrested.

Searches Continue For Missing Men
Searches are to continue today, 11 April, for two men missing from Galway since last month. Ben Garrett, 21, from Co Mayo, has been missing since 31 March, when he left a club in the city centre. Anthony Henehan, aged in his 30s, from Co Roscommon was last seen entering the water at Wolfe Tone Bridge on 10 March.
