Gardaí Investigate Discovery Of Man's Body
An investigation is underway after a man's body was discovered in Longford in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Gardaí reported that the body of a 36-year-old man was found in an apartment in the Harbour Point area of the town.
It is understood that detectives are trying to establish if the man was injured in an earlier incident.
A post mortem is due to be carried out today at Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Investigation Launched Into Galway Body Find
Gardaí have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in an apartment in Galway City. It is understood that the man's body was found by his flatmate on Monday. According to reports, the dead man is believed to be a 23-year-old from Tullamore in Co Offaly who was studying in Galway City.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a man was shot in Bray, Co Wicklow, on Thursday evening. The man, believed to be in his 20s, is currently being treated at St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin. He is believed to have been shot in the People's Park in Bray at around 5.30pm. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
