€200,000 Worth Of Cannabis Seized In Co Clare

Cannabis worth an estimated value of €200,000 has been seized by gardaí in Co Clare.

A man in his 30s was arrested and the drugs were recovered during a planned search of a house in Kilvoyden, gardaí have said.

A technical examination of the scene is expected to be carried out today, with the scene remaining sealed off.

Three Men Hit By Car Fleeing From Garda
Three men are being treated in hospital after being hit by a car which was being pursued by gardaí. Gardaí have said a Hyundai Accent struck three men, aged in their 70s, and crashed into two parked cars outside the pitch and putt course in Parteen, Co Clare, at about 17:00 on Thursday.

Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.
