Irish Law Could See Mike Tyson Refused Entry To Country

Mike Tyson could be banned from visiting Ireland next year, according to reports.

The former world heavyweight champion boxer is booked to perform a one-man show, 'Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth', at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on March 27.

However, Tyson was convicted of rape in 1992, serving three years of a six year sentence and under Irish law, a non-EU national who has served over 12 months in prison can be refused entry to Ireland.

It is understood that the Department of Justice would not comment on individual cases but confirmed that the law stands and applied to everyone.
