Man Arrested Following Robbery In Greenhills
A man in his early 20s has been arrested following a robbery of an off licence shop on St. James Road, Greenhills, on Wednesday night.
At approximately 9.30pm a male entered the premises and demanded cash. He was armed with what was described as a hammer. He left the scene with an amount of cash.
No one was injured in the incident.
The man is currently detained at Sundrive Road Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Accident
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A 69-year-old man died in hospital following the collision on the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at about 17:00, garda have reported. It is understood the man was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a bus.
