Woman Killed In Co Cork Road Crash
Gardaí in Cork have reported that a woman has been killed in a single-vehicle road crash in Skibbereen, Co Cork.
According to gardaí it is thought the crash took place sometime between 22:00 on Thursday and 07:00 on Friday morning. The woman was the only passenger in the car at the time of the incident.
Gardaí would like to speak to anyone who may have travelled on the road between Drimoleague and Skibbereen between 10pm last night and 7am this morning.
They are asked to contact Bantry Garda Station on 027-20860, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800-666-111 or any garda station.

Man Questioned Over Fatal Road Crash In Co Mayo
Garda have detained a man in connection with a fatal road crash in Co Mayo on Sunday, 08 May. A 41-year-old motorcyclist was killed when his bike collided with a van on the N26 at Ballinahaglush at around 3.45pm. A man was arrested and is being detained at Ballina Garda Station.

Man Dies In Overnight Road Crash
A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene. The driver of the van and a second passenger are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Road Death Toll Growing
Gardaí in Borris, Co Carlow are investigating a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that occurred at Ballyine, Co Carlow at 12.45am this morning. A man of 68 was injured when the car in which he was the sole occupant collided with a wall. He was brought to St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
