New waste collection bylaws including new designated bin collection days, have been agreed for Dublin city ahead of the planned implementation next year.

A map produced by Dublin City Council, and available to view online, reveals that collections will take place on Mondays in the south, Tuesdays in the west, Wednesdays in the northwest, the northeast on Thursdays and the north on Fridays. All waste companies will be required to make collects on these designated days.

The central commercial district will see nightly collections.
