Garda Officers On Trial For Sexual Assault Of Colleagues

A gardaí officer has been charged with the sexual assault and harassment of two female colleagues.

The officer, who is understood to be aged in his 30s and married, is charged with seven counts of sexual assault and two of harassment.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between November 2010 and May 2011.

The case, at Letterkenny Circuit Court, is ongoing.

Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Alleged Sexual Assault
Gardaí in Dublin are searching for three people in connection with an alleged sexual assault at Cobra Park on Sunday. It is understood that a woman alleges she was attacked in the park, near Phibsborough, at about 19:45 on Sunday night. The woman is being treated at the Rotunda Hospital's sexual assault unit.

Men Arrested In Connection With Serious Sexual Assault After Concert
Gardaí in Cork have arrested two men in connection with an alleged serious sexual assault, following a Jason Derulo concert in the city. Two women, understood to be aged 18 and 19, reported to garda that they had been seriously sexually assaulted by two men they met in a nearby nightclub, following the concert.
