Gardaí Investigate Robbery In City Centre

An investigation has been launched after two men in crash helmets robbed a clothing store in Dublin city centre in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon.

According to gardaí, two men wearing crash helmets entered the Champion sports store in Blanchardstown shortly after 5pm.

One of the men went behind the counter and emptied the tills, while the second man stood by the door.

The two men then escaped on a motorbike.

A shopper filmed the scene on her mobile phone and the footage, along with CCTV images, are now being reviewed by gardaí.

Four Arrested In Money Laundering Investigation
Gardaí in Cork have arrested four people in an investigation into money laundering. Two men, aged 19 and 29, and two women, aged 28 and 50, were arrested during a search of houses in the Fairhill and Knocknaheeny areas. Men Held After Shotgun Attack
Three men are being questioned following a shooting incident in Dublin. Two men were injured when a shotgun was fired at them and soon afterwards, three men were arrested following a Garda chase. The victims' injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two gardaí officers have received hospital treatment after their patrol car was involved in a collision. The patrol car collided with a car at around 11:00 on Thursday in Kilmallock in Co Limerick, according to a report by the Irish Independent.

Two Die In Small Aircraft Crash
Two men have died in a small aircraft crash near Birr in Co Offaly on Sunday evening. It is understood the small plane had taken off from the airfield at Birr where the Ormond flying club is based. It was flying south when it went down just before 5pm south of the village of Crinkle at an area known as Ballyegan.

Gardaí have appealed for help from the public in finding two men who are both separately thought to be missing. Gardai at Bandon, Co. Cork are firstly seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Patrick (Paki) Williamson who has been missing since the 15 of September.
