Men Held After Shotgun Attack

Three men are being questioned following a shooting incident in Dublin.

Two men were injured when a shotgun was fired at them and soon afterwards, three men were arrested following a Garda chase.

The victims' injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

A single shot was fired at the men while they were standing in the hallway of a house on the North Circular Road at around 2am on Sunday morning.

One man suffered a shotgun wound to the upper body, while the other was not hit by the shot, but suffered head injuries in the incident.

Gardaí arrived quickly on the scene and arrested two men following a chase on foot. A third man was detained following a search of the area involving the garda helicopter.

Man Critical After Tallaght Shooting
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was shot in Tallaght in Dublin. The shooting happened outside a shopping centre on St Dominic's Road shortly before 10pm on Thursday night. The man, who is in his 40s, was taken to Tallaght Hospital following the incident where he is believed to be in a critical condition.

Two Arrested Following Supermarket Raid
Two men have been arrested following a raid at a supermarket in the Clarehall area in Dublin last night. At around 10.30pm, two men armed with a knife entered the premises on the Malahide Road and threatened two members of staff, before tying them up and attacking them. The pair then left the scene with a sum of cash.

Man Arrested Following Death Of A Man In Phoenix Park
A second man has been arrested in Dublin in connection with the murder of a man in the Phoenix Park on Friday. The man is currently being held at Finglas Garda Station. The victim is believed to have been attacked and set alight in a sleeping bag.

Man Arrested Following Fatal Stabbing
A man has been arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Dublin on Monday. Shane O'Connor was found on the street in Donaghmede at around 7am. He later died in hospital. A man is his 20s is being held at Coolock garda station.

Donegal Shots Man Questioned
A 38-year-old man is being held in custody following a shooting incident in Co. Donegal yesterday morning. Garda arrested the man in St Johnston shortly after 9.30am when the followed up reports that a shotgun had been fired. It is understood that a legally held shotgun was fired in the air outside a house.
