Gardaí Carry Out Large Scale Drugs Raid
Some 120 gardaí officers have carried out coordinated raids on 20 premises in an effort to "disrupt" drug enterprises.
In total, drugs with a value of €100,000 were seized from 11 of the premises raided and seven people have been arrested.
Of those seven, three are Irish, two are Polish, one is British and one is Chinese.
Evidence of cannabis manufacturing was uncovered at nine of the raid sites, which garda have said suggests a commercial scale operation, in which the plants are not just grown, but also harvested, dried and packaged.

Suspect Released Following Drugs Raid
Heroin, cannabis and amphetamine worth an estimated €40,000 has been seized by gardaí during a search of a house in Thurles. Two arrests were made during the search, a woman in her 20s, who has since been released, and a man in his 30s, who remains in custody.

Cash Seized During Drug Raid
A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of €85,000 in cash at a flat in Cork city. It is understood members of the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad uncovered the cash during a drug raid on a flat in Tuckey Street at about 21:30 on Tuesday night. A 37-year-old Hungarian national was arrested at the scene.

€60k Cocaine Seized In Co Cork Raid
Gardaí in Co Cork have seized over €60,000 worth of suspected cocaine and a suspected imitation firearm. The drugs were discovered at a house in the Newmarket area on Thursday night, 12 September. No arrests have been made as yet. An investigation is ongoing and all items will be sent for analysis.

A woman has been arrested in connection with an armed raid at a post office in Co Kerry. The suspect was arrested at around 5.30pm in Killarney on Thursday, 04 August. A sum of cash was stolen from Waterville Post Office at around 11am on Wednesday, 03 August. Two men were arrested in the area after the incident.

A man has been arrested after three gardaí were injured during a drug search in County Louth on Friday. The incident occurred at a property in Termonfeckin after 9am. The officers are believed to have been attacked with a knife and a pitbull dog was set on them. A man in his 30s is being held at Drogheda Garda Station.
