35 New Jobs Announced In Counties Offaly and Longford

Some 35 new jobs are to be created in Co Offaly and Co Longford, it has been announced.

Condron Concrete Works in Tullymore, Co Offaly have announced a €3 million expansion creating 20 new jobs. The family-owned firm are to develop a new plastic pipe making facility.

Recruitment for the nes posts is expected to begin immediately.

And Shaws Department Store in Co Longford have announced that creation of 15 new positions with the opening of a new store on October 24.

The new premises, marking Shws' 17th in Ireland, will be in a closed Centra store, which shut suddenly earlier this year.
